1st Annual Traveling Stone Soup Benefit
Beginning in November of 2013 for the duration of 14 days, the Traveling Stone Soup will hold (at selected participating Farmers Market throughout Tucson and Phoenix area) a food drive selling bowls of soup using farmers market ingredients. The soup will be vegetarian and beef vegetable from food certified producers. 500 bowls of soup will be made at a donation of $5.00. All produce not used and unsold from soup will be taken directly to the nearest soup kitchen. 80% of total cash sale at the end of each event be paid to The Phoenix Food Bank as well as 100% of all can goods collected.
